Problem

Import of server settings (.sff files) takes a long time to accomplish; Impossible to import server settings (.sff files); Extended time taken to import server settings

Environment

Importing server settings into MVP; MarkVision Professional (MVP) 11.0

Solution

Explanation


When trying to import server settings, MVP is unable to read the XML structure of the files correctly. This leads to very long delays and various error messages.


Resolution


  1. Download the file ENUS23281_ImportServerSettings_v1.1.zip and unzip it.
     

  2. Install the plug-in ImportServerSettings v1.1 on your MVP server.  For information on how to install MVP plug-ins, click here.
     

  3. Reboot your MVP server.  Click here for instructions.
