To attempt a resolution for this issue, please refer to the information below.As with any paper jam, start by verifying that the following conditions are met:
- The paper/print media being used is within the printer's specifications. Use of media outside of the recommended size, type, and weight will result in frequent jams and poor print quality.
- The paper/print media is being loaded correctly into the printer's paper trays. Refer to the following documents for assistance:

- For instructions on loading print media into the 3,000-sheet high-capacity feeder, click here.
This jam is the result of media stopping inside the finisher. You will need to check both the
upper access area and the
accumulator.
To clear area H:
- Push the finisher latch (L) in and hold it in that position.

- Roll the finisher away from the printer.
- Release the latch.
- Remove any jams from the finisher entry guide (E).

To clear the upper access area:
- Lift the finisher entry guide handle (H).

- Lift the hole punch box, rotate the bottom outwards, and then remove it.
- Release the handle.
- Lift the jam access cover (J).

- Remove any jams from the finisher.

- Rotate the knob (K) to move the paper into the access cover area.
- Release the jam access cover.
- Lift the finisher entry guide handle.

- Place the top of the box in the finisher, and then rotate the bottom of the box into the finisher.
- Release the handle.
To clear the accumulator area:
- Open the stapler door.

- Remove any jams from the accumulator.

- Rotate the accumulator knob (K) counterclockwise to move the paper down.
- Close the stapler door.

- Roll the finisher towards the printer until the finisher locks to the docking pins.

You will hear a click when the finisher locks into position.
