IMPORTANT! Firmware code levels are routinely updated to provide the end user with the latest functionality and performance improvements.

This firmware update includes the following files:
  • -E114_updeng_prod.fls
  • -S132_pdscan.fls
  • -P131_fullnet.fls
  • -UICC316_upduicc.fls 

Improvements and New Functions
Improved Kerberos and LDAP functionality; for example, LDAP + GSSAPI will now use 'default' realm if none is provided.
Improved security functionality

Improved support for eSF (embedded solutions framework) applications

Improved CR/LF (carriage return after line feed) in email subject and email address fields

  1. Color Touch Screen path: Menus > Reports > Menu Settings to print the settings page.
  2. Embedded web server path: Reports > Device Information to view code levels.

You will be required to contact Lexmark Technical Support before you attempt to perform any of the following firmware update methods.
This requirement helps guarantee that the following have been considered: 
  • -Proper diagnosis of the MFP 
  • -Necessity for the firmware update
  • -Special firmware considerations, e.g. MICR (magnetic ink character recognition)  
  • -MFP Base code dependencies such as DLEs (downloadable language emulators): e.g. IPDS, PrintCryption, Prescribe options, among others
