Cannot scan via wireless using Image Capture on Mac OS X 10.7
Wireless scanning is only applicable to Printers with Bonjour Support in Image Capture. Click here to check if your printer is supported.


Cannot scan after Mac OS X 10.7 upgrade
Click here to check if your printer is Bonjour-enabled. If printer is Bonjour-enabled, use Image Capture for scanning. Click here for Scan Instructions. If printer is not Bonjour-enabled, use USB connectivity for scanning.


Error message appears when printing on Mac OS X 10.7 after OS upgrade with previous driver installed
When an error message prompts during printing on Mac OS X 10.7 after OS upgrade, click "Repair" to fix printer driver file permissions.


"Information not available‚" message appears when querying "Supply Level" on Mac OS X 10.7
Supply Level querying is only applicable on USB Connectivity. If you are using Network Connectivity, you can query Supplies Level using the following:

  1. Embedded Web Server
    1. Open SAFARI web browser
    2. In the address field, type in the printers IP Address
    3. Click Device Status
  2. Printers Operator Panel
    1. For InkJet products
      - On printer's operator panel, select ‚"Ink Menu" to view the supplies level.
      or
      - Click "More Options" from the ‚"Ink Menu" and select ‚"Print Test Page"
       
    2. For Laser products
      - On printer's operator panel, click ‚"Status/Supplies" and select "View Supplies". It will display the supplies level of all available supplies.
