Problem

Using MarkVision web client
; For security reasons, an applet can only connect to the machine from which it was invoked. If you specify localhost in the URL, it later gets translated to the machine's IP address. The applet considers this a conflict or security breach and cannot connect.
Solution
You should not use localhost in the URL when running MarkVision Professional or MarkVision Messenger.
It is recommended that you always specify the web server machine's IP address or host name in the URL, even when connecting from a browser running on the same machine.
