Overview
 

When contacting Lexmark Technical Support or arranging warranty service, you will need to know your printer's machine (model) type and serial number (SN). This information can be found on the label on the printer's back cover. NOTE: The label on the back cover also lists the printer's part number/Top-Level Indicator (TLI) and Config ID number (CID).
 

Locating the machine (model) type, serial number (SN), part number / Top-Level Indicator (TLI) and Config ID number (CID)

NOTE: The printer serial number is also listed on the menu settings page(s) which you can print from the printer operator panel.

1	Open Door A by pushing the release latch up and lowering the door.
2	Look for the serial number sticker on the left-hand side of the printer, (see label highlighted in red in right-hand image).
3	This information can also be found on the label on the printer's back cover, (see label highlighted in red in right-hand image).
