Solution

Before You Begin


Use the Wireless Configuration Utility or Wireless Setup Assistant (Macintosh) to reset the network settings and reconfigure the printer only if all other diagnostic checks have been performed first. The use of these configuration utilities requires that the USB configuration cable be reconnected to the host computer.     


Procedure:  Resetting the Network Settings 

  1. Press Setup ().
  2. Press the right-hand or left-hand arrow button until Network Setup displays, and then press .
  3. Press the right-hand or left-hand arrow button until Reset Network Adapter Defaults displays, and then press .
  4. Press the right-hand or left-hand arrow button to display Yes, and then press
  5. Observe the message stating "Clearing Wireless Settings".  
    NOTE: You will not be able to navigate the menu until this process is complete and the Wi-Fi light resets from   to  .
