Mac OS 10.3 Lexmark Setup Assistant (LSA) Unable to Locate the Printer During Installation

A No printer detected message may appear while you are installing the printer on a Macintosh running OS 10.3 (Panther). This error indicates that the system optimization process has not completed; however, this cannot be seen because the dialog is running behind the Lexmark 9300 Series Setup Assistant (LSA). See the image below.
Make sure the Optimizing System Performance process has completed before running the LSA.
