Before you begin

A functional network installation (wired or wireless - not a local USB installation) is required for access to the web server of any Lexmark network printer.

Accessing the web configuration interface

NOTE: The X9350 All-In-One printer is used in this example, but the procedure is identical for any printer equipped with a print server (that is, any printer with an included wired or wireless network adapter, commonly called a print server).   

1. First determine the IP address of the print server within the X9350. For information on how to obtain the IP address, click here.
    


2. Open your preferred web browser (e.g. Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer). In the address field, enter http://<printer IP address> (e.g. http://192.168.1.5 or http://169.254.1.42). The following screen will appear:

3. Choose your preferred language at the bottom of the web page.
    


4. To configure the print server (TCP/IP, wireless, general settings), click CONFIGURATION.

5.  To view reports (e.g. network setup, hardware address, firmware revision), select REPORTS from the left navigation bar.

6. To receive a list with technical support links (firmware, drivers, knowledgebase) and an index of all configuration items, select Links & Index.
