Problem

Copy button grayed out; Cannot copy files from the Storage Devices tab

Environment

What is the purpose of the Copy button on the Storage Devices tab in MVP?; Flash SIMM option; Hard drive option; MarkVision Professional; Optra Form option

Solution

The Copy button is used only to copy a file between storage devices on the same printer. For example,  you can copy a file to/from the hard drive from/ to the flash option if the printer in question has both installed. You cannot copy the file from one printer to another, or to your workstation/server.

The button will be disabled (grayed out) if the printer does not contain at least two storage devices.
