Solution
As of December of 2003, it is not possible to remove the time stamp that is added to the file name by the Scan-To-FTP function. (This function is created using the MFP web page. For information on creating or using scan-to-FTP destinations, please click here. )
This time stamp is placed on each file to ensure that the file name is unique. Without this stamp, the older files on the FTP server could be overwritten by newer files with the same name.
