Overview


This document lists the general user interface issues involving the Lexmark Cloud Platform.

 

 

User interface behaviors


A fix and/or functional improvement to future releases of the Lexmark Cloud Platform are targeted to resolve these issues.

On any Grid display, for example the Print Management Print Queue, there are issues if certain columns are dragged completely from right to left or dragged completely from the rightmost column. This action results in columns being hidden from view.

Note: This issue only occurs with certain columns.
 

Reverse the drag operation to restore the hidden columns for viewing.

On any Grid display, sorting on a column containing blank entries can result in inconsistencies in the reordering once the sort is complete. This can result in rows with blank entries appearing at both the topmost and the bottommost ordering sequence in the Grid. One option is to select a different sort column.
 
This issue has no workaround but will be fixed in the future release.


The Select All feature behaves inconsistently between different usages within the Cloud Product. In some cases, selection is only for the current page on the Grid. In other cases, all entries in the Grid are selected. Check the number of entries selected to be sure you know which behavior occurs on the given screen.
 

Always perform and verify the operation on the current viewable page before paginating to another page in the Grid display. The inconsistency will be fixed in a future release.

Adding or removing entries after Select All is checked can lead to unexpected results on the Add/Remove operation.
 
It is recommended to first perform any Add/Remove operations on individual entries prior to using the Select All feature.

In certain situations, the Select All checkbox remains checked after an operation is performed using the Select All feature.
 
Uncheck the Select All checkbox in this case before performing the next operation on the Grid display.

There are known issues with the entry of very long text fields, such as the text for a Description. Long text fields will overlay existing areas of the screen or will wrap improperly.
 
It is recommended to reduce the size of the text field if these types of issues occur.


Pagination information may be incorrect for cases where multiple pages are required to display a list of items, such as a list of User accounts.
 

The incorrect information should be disregarded.
