Firmware Update Recommendations

Step 1: Check your printer's current code levels. See "How to Check Printer Firmware Levels" below if you are unfamiliar with this procedure.  

Step 2: Download and update printer firmware. See Firmware Availability above.

After downloading and extracting the .zip file, update the printer by selecting a  flash (.fls) method, or utilize the firmware update utility (.exe) included in the firmware download package.

Make sure the printer is READY to receive firmware, and do not interrupt the printer's power or data connection during the update process.

How to Check Printer Firmware Levels 

To do this, obtain the Menu Settings page or access the printer's embedded web server (EWS) for this purpose.
