Overview
This document details how to download the latest printer firmware.
IMPORTANT! Firmware update is essential to optimize the printer’s performance. However, this procedure should only be performed if Lexmark Technical Support has recommended a firmware update. Recommendations will be made by a technician if a printer function or printing anomaly is known to be corrected by updating the printer firmware.
Procedure
Follow the steps below to download the latest printer firmware:

| 1 | Go to Lexmark Support website. |

| 2 | Type your printer model in the “Enter Product Name” field and click  OR click on the picture of the correct printer model. |

| 3 | Locate the “Downloads” tab. |  |
| 4 | Choose the Operating System (e.g., Macintosh, Windows, Linux/Unix). |  |
| 5 | Select the Version. |  |
| 6 | Locate and select the Firmware. |  |
| 7 | Click  .
Note: You may Save or Run (i.e., double-click) the file to start the update. |
