What you will see

Microsoft Document Scanning application crashes when you select to scan a color document at 300 DPI.   

Affected Products

All devices equipped with TWAIN drivers

Suggested Remedy

  • Turn OFF OCR in the presets.
  • Turn OFF OCR processing.
  • Turn OFF automatic file naming, which requires OCR.

By turning off these settings, the tool does not crash.
