What you will see
The printer will post a 900.00 firmware error whenever you attempt to use a Scan to Network (SNF) profile.
IMPORTANT! The set-up where the problem is encountered involves the following:
- Any version of the Scan to Network embedded solution
- Distributed File Share (DFS) as the scan destination
- Firmware version of .P313 and below
NOTE: DFS is a set of client and server services that allow an organization using Microsoft Windows servers to organize many distributed file shares.
Update the printer’s firmware with PE Release code .P314 or later.
