Overview
The print quality defect sample below is called 'white gapping or light edge'. This issue can occur in any color, but will most probably be seen in the black color. Either the toner cartridge or the photoconductor being incorrectly seated are the most probable causes of this issue.

Troubleshooting
Steps Actions 1 Power off the printer. Then remove the Imaging Unit.
Note: Instructions for replacing supplies can also be found in the User's Guide.2 Power off the printer. Remove and reseat the affected color's photo developer and cartridge. Power on the printer again and print a test page.

Yes: Continue to Step 3.
No: The issue is resolved.

Remove any such packaging you find. 4 Try installing a new developer unit. If the issue persists thereafter, try installing a new the photoconductor unit. 5 If issue persists after performing the steps mentioned above, an issue may exist within the machine's hardware.
