What you will see
A 202.32 paper jam posts but no jammed paper is found inside the printer.
Explanation
The printer is designed to automatically flush the sheets to the output bin in order to prevent end-users from clearing a potentially difficult duplex jam. Hence, there should be no jam to clear. End-users just need to select the “Next” button (see image below) and continue to reprint the job.

| There is no need to clear the jam since it is already flushed to the output bin. Select the Next button and reprint the job. |
Still need help?
Please contact Lexmark Technical Support if you need additional assistance. NOTE: When calling for support, you will be asked for your machine/model type and serial number (SN). If you need help locating these, click here.
Please call from near the printer in case the technician on the phone asks you to perform a task involving the printer.
A 202.32 paper jam will most commonly be found when the source is the multi-purpose tray. When the engine code registers a sheet over the sensor as being too long for a duplex job (such as a single feed), it will not send the sheets to the duplex but will instead flush them to the output bin.
NOTE: This is the design intent in order to prevent customers from clearing a potentially difficult duplex jam. Although the messaging does not provide good instruction, there is no service action required. The messaging will be changed in a later RIP code release.
For customers calling with this concern, inform them that the printer is acting correctly and they will just need to reprint the job but not clear any jammed sheets as described in the customer-level section of this document.
