‘202.05’ Paper Jam Error Messages on the Lexmark CS310, CS410, CS510, CX310, CX410, and CX510 |

Overview
The printer repeatedly jams paper. The error code number displayed is a 202.05 Paper Jam message. In some cases, a 202.05 Paper Jam is caused by a broken or stuck Exit Flags located at the output bin.
NOTE: You can select Show areas on the control panel to view images that will help you locate where the jam is occurring. Once the paper path is completely cleared of all jammed paper, the printer should resume normal printing.

The paper jam can be located in either one of the two locations below:

Troubleshooting
Steps Actions 1 Be sure any previous jams have been completely removed; click here and refer to 202.xx Paper Jam Removal. 2 Make sure that the affected paper tray (could be any input source) is loaded properly; please refer to Paper Loading Tips. 3 Ensure that the Exit Flags moves freely and shows no physical damage. See the images below.

Note: If the Exit Flags appears stuck or broken, a service call will likely be required to resolve the issue.4 If issue persists after performing the steps mentioned above, an issue may exist within the machine's hardware.
