Installed options such as the Booklet Finisher of the Advanced Finisher is not detected or the Booklet Finisher is detected as a Standard Finisher on the Lexmark C950, X950, X952 and X954 Color Printers.
Steps Actions 1 Power off the printer/MFP. 2 Try removing the entire finisher option and reinstalling the finisher properly onto the printer/MFP. 3 Power the printer/MFP back on and confirm that the Booklet Finisher is detected. 4 If the problem continues, please contact Lexmark Technical Support for additional assistance. However, the main printer/MFP can function without the finisher option installed. Power off the printer/MFP and move the finisher option away from the printer/MFP. Make sure to disconnect any cables and cords connecting the printer/MFP to the finisher option. You can then power on the printer and continue using it while seeking service options for the finisher option.
