Overview

The instructions below provide you steps on how to configure the Avira Antivir Personal exception list.

Procedure

1 Look for the the Avira Antivir icon on the system tray. Right-click on the icon and select Antivir Guard enable.

2 Click the Antivir Guard enable option to disable the real-time protection of the antivirus.

3 Right-click AntiVir icon in the system tray and select Configure Antivir.

4 On the AntiVir dialog window, check the Expert mode option, then select Scanner > Scan > Exceptions item and click the file browse button “…”.

Select the Lexmark process/executable files to be added to the list and click the “Add>>” button.

Note: Click here to see the types of process/executable files that need to be added on the exceptions list.

6 Press OK in configuration dialog to save and apply all changes. Then re-enable AntiVir Guard. No image
