What you will see

Dark purple toner drips or spills inside the printer's paper tray. See sample picture below.

  1. If toner is leaking at the photoconductor drum, please see this document for continued troubleshooting.
  2. If dark purple toner (waste toner) is leaking into your paper tray, a service call may be required. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support for other troubleshooting suggestions.
