Problem

Add Lexmark executables files; Sophos Endpoint Security Control; Unable; Scan using Printer Home options;

Solution

Procedure

1 Open Sophos Endpoint Security and Control (found under All Programs or Programs) and click Configure Firewall.
2 Click the Configure button.
3 Click the Applications tab.
4 Click Add.

Locate the executable file by going under Computer > C: > Program Files > Lexmark Proxxx, Sxxx. or Proxxxx, and choose the executable file to be added as exception to the Firewall.

You can perform a search on the filename to identify the file path.

6 The executable file should show under Applications tab; rule should be “Trusted”. Note: The option enclosed in red at the bottom-right side is “BLOCK”.
