New machines are shipped in Setup Required mode. If the network cable is plugged into the printer before it is powered on for the first time, this error will result.
Follow the steps below:
|1||Power Off the printer.|
|2||Disconnect the machine from the network by unplugging the network cable from the back of the printer.|
|3||Power On the machine without plugging the network cable back in. Complete the setup procedure by pressing the GO button on the printer control panel when you see the Setup Required message.|
|4||When setup is complete, power Off the machine and reconnect the network cable.|
