Overview
 

You are unable to scan directly using the Lexmark Printer Home application and the printer operator panel. Upon scanning, a window as below will display with a set of instructions for you to follow to create a scan profile.

1 Open the Lexmark Printer Home and go to Settings.  
2 Click Settings and select the Enable remote scanning option.

The Lexmark Network Configuration window will then appear. Press OK.

Note: To change your scan computer name, highlight and delete the current detected scan name and change it to your preferred computer scan name then press OK.

 
4 Press the Back (4a ) option, then click and select the Scan (4b) option.
5 Click and select Advanced scan option.  
6 Select the Scan immediately option.

Press the Scan button and notice that it will immediately scan the file without asking you to create a scan profile.

Note: You may want to try scanning using the printer's operator panel.
