Light Edge / White Gapping / Half Page Missing

  1. Remove the image unit and reseat the developer and the cartridge of affected color.
  2. Reinstall the image unit back to the printer.
  3. Verify whether all packaging materials were removed. (Follow KB SO4709.)
  4. Check developer hold downs on drive side (according to action Step 3 in KB SO4788).
  5. Try installing a new Developer unit. If issue re-occurs, try installing a new Photoconductor (PCU). 
  6. If issue persists after completing the above steps, contact Lexmark Technical Support for further assistance.
