Firmware release notes (June 2014)
Before you attempt to update this printer's firmware, you will need to make sure your printer is at the minimum firmware level of LW1.PR.P151 (EC1.1).
A firmware update failure with a corresponding 'Invalid Version' message will result should your printer firmware level not be at .P151 or above.

*This Windows utility automates the firmware flash procedure if an active network connection is available between client and printer.
Periodic printer firmware updates address end-user performance issues, provide new functionality, and provide performance improvements.
Firmware updates may modify printer settings and cause counterfeit and/or unauthorized products, supplies, parts, materials (such as toners and inks), software, or interfaces to stop working. Authorized use of Genuine products will not be affected.
MarkVision Enterprise (MVE) users: An MVE firmware management issue has been identified that affects the ability to deploy printer firmware using MVE policies with this firmware release.
NOTE: This firmware is for models with a 4" (109.22mm) LCD operator panel only.
The .fls file will require the PrinterFileLoader application to send the file.

After downloading and extracting the files, you will update the device using the Windows automated flash file (.exe) or select your flash (.fls) update method below
Make sure the printer is READY to receive firmware, and do not interrupt the printer's power or data connection during the update process.

Look for the code level under “Device Information”.
