MarkVision Enterprise 1.9: Unable to See Printer or Supply Status Under the Service Desk Tab

Printer status; Supply Status; Status; MVE; Service Desk; Not showing up


What you see under MVE's Service Desk tab

Maintenance items, i.e., Printer and Supply status... And clicking on... Results in...
 Do not show for the Lexmark E360... "Collect current status"... A log showing that status was collected, but the information is still not displayed.


What else is known

  • Printers are online.
  • The issue is not affecting all printers.
  • Rebooting the printer temporarily fixes the issue.


Suggested remedy

Firmware level LL.LBM.P538 or greater addresses this issue. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support and reference this article to acquire this level of firmware.



The printer's failure to reply to certain MVE SNMP status queries (audit commands) causes MVE to re-query the printer repeatedly until it eventually locks up.
