Overview
A message "No camera or scanner selected." displays when Image Capture is opened, which makes it look like the printer scanner is not installed or detected. (Click image below to enlarge.)
Solution
Resolve the issue by performing the steps detailed below. IMPORTANT: Before performing the steps below, you need to install the scanner driver for the Mac OS X 10.4, Mac OS X 10.5, Mac OS X 10.6, and Mac OS X 10.7 to prevent problems when initiating the scan software for Mac.
