When you use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to configure My Shortcut settings, the shortcut's icon does not appear in the Control Panel screen even if you seemed to have successfully configure it with the Embedded Web Server (EWS).
How to configure My Shortcut
‘My Shortcut’ is NOT configurable using EWS. To successfully create My Shortcut, you need to perform the procedure using the Control Panel menus.
NOTE: Configuring My Shortcut in EWS will only result in a blank icon appearing in the Control Panel screen.
