What you will see
The printer posts a ‘Tray 5 Low’ message each time it comes out of Power saver mode. The intervention message appears even if the 2000-sheet High-capacity feeder (HCF) is loaded with sufficient paper.
Assuming Tray 5 is sufficiently loaded with paper, you can temporarily clear the message every time it appears by opening and re-inserting the Tray 5.
For a permanent fix however, you need to contact Lexmark Technical Support to get a copy of the Firmware fix that needs to be installed in the machine. The Technical Support Agent can assist you should you have difficulties or if you are unsure on the process of installing a new firmware.
