This article focuses on those settings which can be configured via the printer's Web page.

While many All-In-One (AIO) Inkjet Printers have an embedded Web page, this article primarily focuses on the following printers:

NOTE: Not all EWS settings are available on every printer model because of differences in printer capabilities. Check your printer's Web page for equivalent settings of those described in this article.
Why the Web page?
You may consider this configuration method for any of the following reasons:
How to access
Obtain the printer's IP address.
|2||Open your Internet browser application; e.g., Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari or Google Chrome.|
|3||Enter your printer's IP address or Hostname into the browser's address field. For example, enter http://Printer_IP_ADDRESS, where Printer_IP_ADDRESS is the IP address of the printer.|
What IP address?
To obtain the printer's IP address, choose between one of three different methods:
Method 1: Print out the network setup page. From the control panel, press or touch , select Network Setup, and then Print Setup Page.
Method 2: Navigate to the Network Setup menu to view the IP address on the device. From the control panel, press or touch , select Network Setup, and then TCP/IP > IPv4 Setup.
Method 3: Press the Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection symbol displayed on the printer.
Method 1: Print out the network setup page. From the control panel, press the down arrow key until you reach the Setup menu, press OK, select Network Setup, and then Print Network Setup Page.
Method 2: Navigate to the Network Setup menu to view the IP address on the device.
a. For Wireless as Active Network
From the control panel, press the down arrow key until you reach the Setup menu, press OK, select Network Setup, select Wireless 802.11 b/g/n, Wireless, TCP/IP > IP Address.
b. For Ethernet as Active Network
From the control panel, press the down arrow key until you reach the Setup menu, press OK, select Network Setup, select Ethernet 10/100, Ethernet, TCP/IP > IP Address.
This printer's EWS functions may have been secured by a network administrator. Please contact your IT department or contact Lexmark Technical Support for additional assistance.
The embedded web server opens to the Device Status screen.
