This articles describes how to install a Z1400 series printer software on a Macintosh OS X computer.
Before you begin
Make sure to secure the printer setup CD that came with your printer.
NOTE: if you are missing the CD, click here for more information on your option to download the suitable driver. It is IMPORTANT to verify your printer compatibility with your Macintosh OS X version; click here to access the Mac OS X Compatibility List.
Insert the driver CD into the computer or use the suitable driver-download from the Lexmark website.
Double-click the 1400 Series Installer icon.
Double-click the Install icon.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. When the process is complete, the following image will appear:
