Overview
This article details the steps to obtain the User's Guide on the installation CD. The User's Guide contains an important overview of the functions of your Lexmark printer as well as information pertaining to usage and supplies.
Procedure
Several ways exist to access the User's Guide. See options below.
Option 1
| Step | Action |
| 1 | Place the Lexmark installation CD in the CD-ROM drive. |
| 2 | Go to (Tools), View documentation, User's Guide. You will be prompted to save this documentation to your hard drive. |
| 3 | Click Yes to place a shortcut to the document on your desktop. |

Open Windows Explorer. This can be done by right-clicking the windows |

Open My Computer, Lexmark CD, Pubs, <language>; e.g., My Computer\DVD RW Drive (E:) <printer model>\pubs\ENGLISH. |

Note: Some CDs may contain the Acrobat Reader. If available, you can install it from the CD as follows: a. In Windows Explorer, open Lexmark CD, AcroRead, Win32, <language>. |
