Problem

Built-in Scan to Network Folder; OOB application; Out of box pre-installed app;

Solution

What you will see
 

Your first scan attempt to a network-shared folder works fine. However, as soon as you select Yes to the prompt "Would you like to scan additional documents?" and scan to the same destination or a different destination immediately after the first successful scan, the Scan to Network application posts the error: "Authentication failed. Please contact your system administrator to get access or try a different destination."

 

Suggested Remedy
 

Contact your helpdesk or system administrator who set up your application or Lexmark Technical Support to obtain and install the latest version 3.7.6 of your SNF application.
