New Advanced Imaging options

 

To access, click the ellipsis (...) next to Advanced Imaging.

 

 

New options available: 

    • Remove Blank Pages: Adjust the sensitivity of scans in relation to blank pages. You can specify sensitivity from 1 to 255.
    • Auto Crop: Printer will automatically determine the best crop area for the scanned files.
    • Deskew: Printer automatically straightens scanned files.
    • Despeckle: Printer automatically removes specks from scanned files.

New Scan Destinations

 The following are all located under Printer Task Library > Actions.

 

Scan to Google Doc


Allows user to send scanned files to Google Docs (Drive)

 

Scan to LDD  (Lexmark Document Distributor) 

Allows user to scan to LDD and send scanned files to an LDD server.

  

Scan to LDIC (Lexmark Distributed Intelligent Capture)

Allows user to scan to LDIC to send scanned files to a LDIC Server.

 

NOTES: 

  • Corporate accounts cannot be used when scanning files to Google Docs (Drive).
  • Some scan settings may not be available on certain printers or in certain situations.

New Multi-Send 'Continue on Fail' feature

Multi-Send allows a single scan job to be sent to multiple destinations. (Supports e-mail, fax, FTP, copy, secure e-mail, Google Docs, LDD and LDIC destinations)

With Continue on Fail selected, the failing destination(s) is de-emphasized so that remaining destinations are able to receive the job.

New Scan to Network Create Folder for Standalone and Multi-Send

Allows user to create a new folder in a scan to network location.

To activate this feature:

New Print from Network Share

Allows users to print saved files in a specified network location.

Example: Static Folder

 

 

 


NOTE: Authentication Credentials Required: Guest/Anonymous, MFP, or Static credentials.
