Overview
This article details the steps on how to disable fax and email functions to avoid prompts or messages relating to these functions.
Explanation
The 2.4 inches (60.96 mm) printer control panel does not support advanced security. Thus, the need to run initial setup via the Embedded Web Server (EWS).
Procedure
To disable these functions, run initial setup by doing the following:

Note: Please wait for several seconds before powering the printer back on to ensure proper power cycle process. |

| 5 | During initial setup, select the option to turn off Fax and Email. |

| 6 | When the device is at Ready state, the fax and email functions should not be visible and will not prompt with any message relating to these functions. |
