Tip to Improve the Stability of an Adjustable Printer Stand

Solution

Overview
 

If the printer appears to be unstable using the Adjustable printer stand (Part Number: 35S8502), the two (2) black latches must be removed to render the machine steady.

NOTE: The latches are not needed for a “printer only” installation; i.e., no other media options will be installed in the machine.

 

How to remove the latches
 

The diagram below shows the location of the latches (A); these can be removed by unscrewing the two screws (B) using the Philips screwdriver provided with the stand.

Remove the screws (B) to unfasten the latches (A).
