Service Error 121.x2 Appears on a Lexmark MS71x, MX71x, MS81x, & MX81x Printer/MFP

What you will see
The printer posts a “Service Error [121.x2] Fuser Error”. This error usually appears should the fuser be removed while the power is still on, in order to clear a 20x.xx paper jam.

Power off the printer.
Make sure the fuser is installed correctly by pushing it fully into place. Do this especially if it had been removed to clear a paper jam.
Tighten the fuser blue thumb screws by rotating them clockwise as shown below.
Power on the printer again.
If 121.x2 fuser error clears and the printer returns to Ready screen, then the problem is solved. Otherwise, contact Lexmark Technical Support to set up service for the printer.
