Overview
When using transparency media on the printer, the machine pulls two or more sheets of paper or transparency at the same time. This normally results in the paper jamming or a blank sheet of paper feeding through the printer.
Recommendation
Sheets of lightweight or special media items, such as transparencies, are more likely to stick together than standard paper. If transparencies are jamming, multi-feeding either from Tray 1 or from other Input Options as well as sticking together as the transparencies exit through the output bin, follow the recommended tips below.
Troubleshooting
Steps Actions 1 Make sure paper type is set to Transparency. 2 If printing more than ten transparencies:
- Remove the transparencies from the bin as they come out of printer.
- Run separator sheets (setup in the printer driver).
- Print smaller jobs (less than ten sheets at a time).
