What you will see
 

When you scan/copy using the Flatbed scanner or Auto-Document Feeder (ADF), the resulting page is partially covered in black. See sample image below. NOTE: This defect could happen intermittently.

Recommended solution
 

This scan defect requires replacement of a particular part inside the printer. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support to report the issue. Ask the Technical Support Agent to verify the printer’s warranty and request for service.
