Solution

Overview
 

The Lexmark ScanBack Utility software enables you to create a Scan to computer Profile that allows scanning a document from the printer’s control panel to your computer.

NOTE: This profile can be saved at any destination desired within the computer; i.e., desktop, documents folder, personal folders, etc., and opened when needed.

 

Procedure
 

Follow the steps below to download the ScanBack Utility application:

Go to Lexmark Support website.

2 Type your printer model in the “Enter Product Name” field and click  OR click on the picture of the correct printer model.
3 Locate the “Downloads” tab.
4 Select Windows from the Operating System pull-down menu.

Select the Version. (See Image 1.)

Note: See supported Operating System versions under "More Details" after choosing Lexmark ScanBack Utility to create scan to PC profiles. (See Image 2.)

6 Locate "Utilities" and choose Lexmark ScanBack Utility to create scan to PC profiles.

 

Follow the steps below to Install the ScanBack Utility application:

Double-click the  installer. (See Image 1.)

Note: It is best to use Extract and Install to extract the .exe files. (See Image 2.)

2 Select Install.
3 Agree with the License Agreement.
4 Click Continue with the Security Notification.

Click Continue.

Note: The Installation Path can be specified.

6 Click Done.
