Issue description

This is an Out of the Box (OOB) issue since it is induced during the installation of the Lexmark device.

Cause and explanation

This issue was induced by the incorrect installation of the device, most commonly due to the non-removal of packaging material.


Issue Cause
Print Quality Issue (Missing Plane)
Packaging Material not removed from Black (K) Photoconductor.

Here are samples of potential print quality issues (PQI) when the packaging material is not removed completely from the Black (K) photoconductor.


   
   

 

Troubleshooting

The issue can easily be resolved by checking the Lexmark device for any packaging material that was missed.

  • Remove the Packaging materials from the Black (K) Photoconductor.
